This family garden cottage can accommodate up to 4 guests and consists of 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom with a shower and a bath. Bedroom 1 has 2x single beds that can also be converted to a double bed, and bedroom 2 has a queen size bed. This unit has a kitchenette and is equipped with cable TV (inside each bedroom), a safe, air-con and Wi-Fi access.

It is specially geared for cyclists, with a wash bay, 4 bicycle wall racks outside, and a laundry line for cycling gear. It also has its own private garden area, with a seating area to have lunch under the trees or just relax. This cottage is separate from the main residence, but also next to the pool area. It also has its own patio next to the pool.

To get to Van der Stel Street in Stellenbosch, you can take a public transport bus or taxi to the Stellenbosch Bus Station. From there, head south on Plein Street and turn left onto Van Riebeeck Street. Continue straight until you reach Van der Stel Street.

If you are driving, take the N2 highway towards Stellenbosch and take exit 33 for Baden Powell Drive/R310 towards Stellenbosch. Turn right onto Polkadraai Road/R310 and continue straight until you reach Adam Tas Road. Turn left onto Adam Tas Road and then turn right onto Merriman Avenue. Finally, turn left onto Van der Stel Street.

There is limited street parking available on Van der Stel Street, but there are also several paid parking lots nearby that offer hourly or daily rates.
