What people say
Mike's Kitchen Milnerton, located on Koeberg Road in Cape Town, has received mixed reviews from various sources. A recent review in the Cape Times praised the restaurant for its "tender and juicy" steaks and "friendly service." However, a review in Eat Out magazine criticized the restaurant for its "overcooked" steaks and "lackluster sides."
Online reviews of Mike's Kitchen Milnerton are also mixed. On TripAdvisor, some customers have raved about the restaurant's "amazing" steaks and "great atmosphere," while others have complained about slow service and high prices. One customer wrote, "The steak was cooked to perfection, but the sides were disappointing and overpriced."
On Zomato, another popular review site, some customers have praised Mike's Kitchen Milnerton for its "fantastic" food and "excellent value," while others have criticized the restaurant for its "inconsistent" quality and "poor service." One reviewer wrote, "The steak was good, but not great. The sides were forgettable."
Despite these mixed reviews, many customers seem to enjoy dining at Mike's Kitchen Milnerton. On Facebook, several customers have left positive comments about their experiences at the restaurant. One customer wrote, "The steak was amazing! I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a great meal." Another customer commented, "The service was excellent and the food was delicious. I will definitely be back!"
It is important to note that these reviews are all relatively recent - within the past year or so - which suggests that Mike's Kitchen Milnerton is still a popular destination for diners in Cape Town. While there may be some inconsistencies in quality and service, it seems that many customers are willing to overlook these issues in favor of enjoying a good steak at a reasonable price.
Overall, if you're looking for a steakhouse in Cape Town, Mike's Kitchen Milnerton may be worth checking out - just be prepared for some mixed reviews and the occasional disappointment.
