It’s time to say good bye. We have been around the sun for seven years and went through many transitions and now it is time to let go. Time for change and new adventures!

Many of you know, Hang Ten Café is the last locally run coffee shop at the beachfront, and I wanted it to keep it that way. And I am happy to tell you, that it will continue like that! You know, I was thinking of approaching a franchise long before they arrived on the strip, but I couldn’t do it! It just didn’t feel right and my heart said no. And I am glad I didn’t! Muizenberg local Craig and his lovely wife Cloe will take over the café. So please support them. Because “Local really is lekker!” Now more than ever!

Thank you for all your support, the laughs, the hugs and your shoulders when I needed to shed some tears - especially over the last two years, you know who you are! I will take away with me many good memories and friendships. I have been told that it’s a miracle I made it through the sh*tstorm and I’d deserve a medal. Thank you, but I think I’d rather take a fat holiday instead!

So, bye-bye lovely people, it was an absolute pleasure to meet and serve you all. Until we meet again. Happy new year ♥️
