It is that time of the month when you can get your freshly roasted coffee delivered for free.

Please note that the cut off to place your order for our monthly free delivery route is 16:00 on Thursday, 28th May.

Stock is running low on Uganda Bugisu so be sure to grab a bag before it is all gone.

As mentioned in last months newsletter, our new season Colombia Huila is now available and ready to purchase. We are in the process of testing some new single origin coffees and hope to share them with you soon.

What we look for in a Colombian Coffee:

Sweet and tangy
Think ripe red plums, apples and berries.
The sweetness from these fruits are always followed by a tangy acidity.

A deep body with a chocolatey finish.
We love Colombian coffees that have strong chocolate notes, it can either be cocoa, cacoa or chocolate. The main thing is it must have a deep rich body, one that coats the mouth and feels heavy on the palate.

We always try to maintain these core flavour profiles.

THE STORY
The Cerrado Mineiro Region is a world recognized high quality coffee producing origin – the first “Designation of Origin” in Brazil, located in northwest of Minas Gerais State. Having well-defined seasons – a hot, wet summer and a pleasantly dry winter – is a strong characteristic of the region. The coffee plantations are cultivated in areas with altitudes varying between 800 and 1,300 meters, the result being high quality coffees with a unique identity.

We will be running two free delivery route dates in December!

We have chosen to do this for two reasons:
1. With the 26th being a public holiday, some may be away for the holiday season and we are offering the 19th as an alternative.

2. The 19th may be to soon to receive your coffee order in the month, so we are offering the 29th as an option.

Our roastery remains open over the holiday season but please take into consideration that our courier partners are closed on public holidays.

Orders for the 19th close on Thursday, the18th at 16:00
Orders for the 29th close on Friday, the 26th at 16:00

Public Transport:
1. Take the train to Kenilworth Station.
2. From the station, walk south on Chichester Road towards Wrensch Road.
3. Turn left onto Wrensch Road and continue until you reach Pinehurst Road.

Driving/Parking:
1. From Cape Town city center, take the M5 highway southbound.
2. Take exit 14 for Wetton Road towards Lansdowne Road.
3. Turn left onto Wetton Road and continue straight.
4. Turn right onto Chichester Road and then left onto Pinehurst Road.
5. There should be street parking available along Pinehurst Road or nearby streets.
