What people say
Red Mountain Spur Steak Ranch, located on Cecilia Road in Paarl, has received mixed reviews from various sources. The most recent review comes from a local newspaper, which gave the restaurant a rating of 3 out of 5 stars. The reviewer praised the restaurant's family-friendly atmosphere and affordable prices but noted that the food was average at best.
A magazine review from last year was more positive, giving Red Mountain Spur Steak Ranch a rating of 4 out of 5 stars. The reviewer raved about the restaurant's burgers and steaks, calling them "juicy and flavorful." However, they did mention that the service could be slow during peak hours.
Online reviews are also mixed. One customer on Yelp gave Red Mountain Spur Steak Ranch a rating of 2 out of 5 stars, citing poor service and overcooked food. Another customer on TripAdvisor gave the restaurant a rating of 4 out of 5 stars, praising the friendly staff and large portions.
Some customer comments published online include:
- "The burgers were delicious but it took forever to get our food."
- "Great place for families with kids - lots of activities to keep them entertained."
- "The steak was tough and overcooked - not worth the price."
Overall, it seems that Red Mountain Spur Steak Ranch is hit or miss depending on who you ask.
