Catch us every weekend at Wynberg for the rugby!
Get yourself a cup of coffee and start that conversation.

The crack. The colour. The smell.
Roasting isn’t just technical.
Knowing exactly when it’s right… that’s the difference.
Ever watched coffee being roasted before?

Before it was a business, it was just part of growing up.
Coffee was always there — early mornings, familiar routines, something that stuck.
Over time, that turned into curiosity… then obsession… then Conversations Coffee.
What’s your first memory of coffee?
24/04/2026
It’s not just making coffee — it’s dialing it in.
Every adjustment matters. Grind. Pressure. Timing.
Because small changes are what separate average from consistent.
21/04/2026
We don’t just roast coffee.
We obsess over it.
Taste, balance, and consistency — every batch matters.
What do you look for first in a coffee?
19/04/2026
The moment everything comes together.
Pressure, temperature, timing — all working in sync.
This is where flavour starts to show itself.
Short and strong or long and smooth?

Most people don’t know who’s behind their coffee.
You should.
This is Graeme — owner, roaster, and the reason your cup tastes the way it does.
Every batch is intentional.
Would you rather support local or go with convenience?

From bean to cup, nothing is left to chance.
We test, taste, and refine — every step of the way.
Because consistency is what turns a good coffee into your daily one.
What makes a coffee your favourite?
09/04/2026
From the bag to the brew.
Coffee made for slow mornings and better conversations.
Carefully roasted, brewed with intention.
Are you drinking this black or with milk?
06/04/2026
That first smell when you open a fresh bag…
Hard to beat.
Freshly roasted, ready for your next cup.
Whole beans or ground?
02/04/2026
It’s in the small details.
Grind size, timing, consistency, everything matters.
Because a better grind means a better cup.
Do you grind fresh at home, or buy pre-ground?
25/02/2026
This or That
Which are you choosing?
24/02/2026
The hands behind the roast.
The conversations behind the coffee.
Meet two who make it happen at the roastery.

Our House Blend.
A medium-dark roast bringing together beans from Uganda, Ethiopia, Rwanda, and Brazil.
Hazelnut on the nose.
Floral fruit notes up front.
Finished with bold chocolate depth.
Layered. Balanced. Built for conversation.

Whatever the mood at the table
there’s a bag for it.
Which one’s coming home with you?
12/02/2026
From the roast… to the first sip
Every step is intentional, so the conversation feels effortless.
This is Conversations Coffee

Measured. Sealed. Ready.
Small-batch coffee done right.
09/02/2026
It all begins with the bean.
Roasted with purpose. Brewed for connection.
06/02/2026
Which one are you opening first? 👀☕️
Dark & Grumpy… or something a little more talkative?
Tag the person you’d share this bag with.
03/02/2026
We believe coffee should slow you down long enough to have a conversation.
That starts here with attention, patience, and respect for the process.
Who’s the first person you’d share a cup with this morning?

Did you know that coffee is a fruit?
The coffee bean its self is actually a coffee seed. When the coffee cherry ripens its seeds are extracted and dried ready to be shipped.

The Drop
One of the most important steps in the roasting process. If coffee is left to roast too long then you over caramelise your sugars with the beans, this leads to dark, burnt and bitter flavours developing in the beans. If you drop coffee too early then you could have under roasted flavours come through bring sour, green and flat notes to your morning brew.
