I would like to start by saying I have thoroughly enjoyed my time at Harvest Culture.
You, the customers, as always are the reason I show up every day to cook for.
Your appreciation is the reward we as a team get for our effort.
I have been doing this since 1966 and never once did I regret my choice of profession.
Durbanville has had mixed results. We started during lockdown and eventually got going in July 2021. It was a slow start but eventually improved and impacted our community. We enjoyed success until load shedding interrupted our rhythm. The lack of emergency lighting and lifts necessitated clients using flights of stairs which were unpleasant for the age group we appeal to particularly at nights and in the unlit parking garage.
I admit to some poor choices for which I take responsibility for and to you I aplologise.
Harvest Culture has officially closed as of Wednesday .I would like to thank the customers, suppliers and especially the staff for your commitment and support. I believe you have made many memories that will last indefinitely . So until we me meet again, be blessed because you came.
Love Dale and Iris
