Durbanville RocoFam, this one's a little bittersweet ❤️🍔
After 11 incredible years, RocoMamas Durbanville will be closing its doors, with our last day of trading on 31 October 2026.
As the very first RocoMamas in the Western Cape, this little spot has been home to so much more than just smashing burgers.
From every school shadow shift, every birthday celebrated, every late-night matric farewell snack and every proposal, to the days we invented the legendary FreakShakes, our Big Burger Challenge, bodybuilding show afterparties and countless other unforgettable moments. We've shared so many laughs, celebrated milestones, made lifelong friends and created memories that will stay with us forever.
To every customer who's walked through our doors, every familiar face who's become part of the furniture and every crew member who's been part of our journey, THANK YOU! ❤️
You helped turn a burger joint into a family and we couldn't be more grateful for the love and support you've shown us over the past 11 years.
But before we close this chapter, we'd love to see our RocoFam one more time! Come smash your favourites with us up until 31 October, share a few RocoPocalypse memories and help us make these last days extra special 🍔🔥
And don't disappear on us just yet... 👀 We've got some exciting news to share! Pop in and chat to our crew to find out what's next for us. We'd love to tell you in person!
11 years of burgers, memories and . Thank you, Durbanville! ❤️
Much love,
The RocoMamas Durbanville Crew

What people say
Burger restaurants have become a staple in the fast food industry, with many establishments offering their own unique take on this classic American dish. However, RocoMamas at Palm Grove Centre in Cape Town stands out from the rest with its funky décor, rock ‘n roll vibe and open-style kitchen where customers can see (and smell) the meals being prepared.
What sets RocoMamas apart is their commitment to customisation. Their menu goes far beyond your typical burger joint, allowing customers to create their own unique burger creations. From choosing the type of bun and patty to selecting toppings like bacon, avocado and jalapenos, the possibilities are endless.
But it's not just about burgers at RocoMamas. They also offer a range of other delicious options like Mofo Hot Chicken Wings and Rockin Ribs. And for those who prefer plant-based options, they have vegan and vegetarian choices as well.
Whether you choose to sit down and soak up the laid-back vibe with a burger and craft beer or opt for takeaway thanks to their speedy service, RocoMamas offers a winning recipe for success in South Africa. With growth on the horizon for this trendy restaurant chain, Spur Corporation looks forward to keeping the brand true to its core values and distinctiveness that customers unquestionably love.
So if you're looking for a fun dining experience with great food that won't break the bank, head over to RocoMamas at Palm Grove Centre in Cape Town. You won't be disappointed!
