Every chapter has its final page, and today we say goodbye to Die Wingerd as we have known it.
For many years, these walls have been more than just a building. They have been part of our story, providing a welcoming space where countless memories were made and memorable experiences were shared with our guests.
From celebrations and conferences to special moments of connection, Die Wingerd has played an important role in our journey and in the experiences of those who have walked through its doors.
While we bid farewell to this cherished chapter, we do so with gratitude for the memories created and excitement for the future that lies ahead. As one chapter closes, another begins, bringing new opportunities to continue creating exceptional experiences for our guests.

As we prepare for our highly anticipated expansion and refurbishment project officially commencing on 1 June 2026, we bid farewell to our beloved play area as we make way for something even more exciting ahead! 🎉
While it’s bittersweet to see this chapter come to an end, we cannot wait to share what’s coming next. Bigger spaces, refreshed experiences, and wonderful new additions are all part of the journey ahead.
Thank you to all our guests and little visitors who made so many special memories here over the years. ❤️

Important & Exciting Announcement!
Die Wingerd is evolving and we are thrilled to share that something bigger and better is on the way. A brand-new look and feel is in the works, bringing an elevated experience that we cannot wait to introduce to you.
As we prepare for this exciting transformation, please note that Die Wingerd will officially close from 31 May 2026, with 30 May 2026 being our final day of trade.
While we are not yet able to confirm a reopening date, we promise it will be worth the wait.

To get to Techno Avenue in Stellenbosch, you can take the public transport option by taking a train or bus to Stellenbosch station. From there, you can take a taxi or walk to Techno Avenue.
If you prefer driving, take the N2 highway towards Stellenbosch and take exit 33 for Baden Powell Drive. Continue straight on Baden Powell Drive until you reach Adam Tas Road. Turn right onto Adam Tas Road and continue straight until you reach Techno Avenue.
There is parking available along Techno Avenue and in nearby parking lots.
