Your June winter survival guide is here, and it starts with us.
Pop in on Monday for a cappuccino and pasteis for R50.
Wednesday is peri-peri chicken livers on sourdough with mint yoghurt and pomegranate for R75 and Friday it’s some chicken with chips or salad for R95.
It’s a small menu, but it carries the week. Come through when you need something warm.

A little trip down memory lane. ☕✨
These photos take us back to where it all began. Looking back, we’re reminded of how far we’ve come, the people who’ve supported us along the way, and the community that’s helped shape I Love Coffee into what it is today.
Thank you for being part of the community 🫶🏼Here’s to many more cups, conversations, and memories still to come.

As part of the Summer Bootcamp, Gary hosted Paroma Bhattacharya, Head of Social Innovation at London School of Economics Generate MSc, and 15 LSE students studying Social Innovation and Entrepreneurship in the I Love Coffee training space in London yesterday.
After enjoying a coffee made from beans roasted in our Cape Town roastery, the students were given a presentation on I Love Coffee, followed by an interactive brainstorming session around how Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) targets could be used to scale in-office I Love Coffee cafés in the UK.
The session created meaningful conversations around inclusive business, social impact, and the role spaces like I Love Coffee can play in building stronger communities. We’re always proud to share our story and collaborate with future innovators who are passionate about creating change. ☕✨

We had the privilege of hosting the bakers from the Reaching for Young Stars competition for a hands-on baking masterclass with Togara Mabharani. 👨🍳✨
They spent the day learning, baking, and refining their craft as they prepare for the competition where they’ll be using Bio Wheat () in their breads. We’re proud to be part of their journey and to see their talent grow in spaces like this.

What people say
I Love Coffee Group, located on Garfield Road in Cape Town, is a unique and heartwarming breakfast & brunch restaurant and coffee shop. What sets them apart is that they are staffed entirely by Deaf and Hard of Hearing baristas, chefs, and their mentors. This makes for a truly special experience as you enjoy your delicious food and coffee while supporting an incredible cause.
Not only does I Love Coffee Group offer exceptional service from their talented staff, but they also promise to bridge the gap between those who can hear and those who cannot. Their dedication to the Deaf community is admirable, and it's evident in everything they do.
Recently, they celebrated a momentous day in their journey thanks to funding raised by the Rotary Club of Claremont for their training academy. This will undoubtedly open up many opportunities for the Deaf community.
Their Father's Day preview menu features a mouth-watering croissant burger with pure beef burger, beef pastrami or bacon, fried egg, cheddar, BBQ mayo, tomato, and gherkin. It's no surprise that this sample went down like a homesick mole! Bookings open soon.
As they celebrate their 7th birthday this year, it's clear that I Love Coffee Group has come a long way since their bumpy first year. They continue to serve exceptional coffee and food while making a positive impact on the world.
Overall, I Love Coffee Group is an excellent choice for anyone looking for delicious breakfast & brunch options served with kindness and purpose.
