🍷 SUPPER CLUB GIVEAWAY 🍷
Long before Judd’s was a restaurant, it was a family table.
Our Supper Club was born from those meals. Food prepared with love by Mamma Judd, bottles opened by Bryan Senior, and the simple belief that life is better when shared.
On 17 June, we’re setting one long communal table and giving away two seats at it.
Expect a three course dinner, wines from Bryan Senior’s private cellar, great conversation and a room full of people who appreciate all three.

This week’s Wines of the Week come from De Kleine Wijn Koöp, one of our long standing favourite producers and friends in wine.
Unapologetically Afrikaans and proudly individual, the range is known for its striking, quirky labels that have built a cult following over the years. But don’t let the playful designs fool you. These are seriously good wines.
Crafted in small batches, with inventive blends and a commitment to expressing place and personality, they showcase exceptional, proudly South African wines from across the winelands.

Our toughest critic recommends The Judds Burger. Frankie Fenner 100% beef, medium rare, melted Emmental, Guinness glaze, bacon jam, hand cut fries, and apparently a very enthusiastic thumbs up. 🍔👍🏼

Saturday brunch, sorted. 🧡
Forget the sad bowl of cereal - Saturday deserves better. It may be Friday, but we’re already thinking about tomorrow. Specifically this burger.
Crispy bacon. Oozy cheese. Egg yolk making a glorious mess. The Judds Breakfast Burger hits different on a weekend.
Oh, and mimosas. Obviously. 🥂

Our very first Supper Club was everything we hoped it would be, and then some.
This is what Judds Local is all about. Bringing people together around a table over comforting food, good wine, and the kind of conversation that turns strangers into friends.
A true family affair, with Mama Judd cooking her heart out in the kitchen and Judd Senior generously pouring some of his favourite bottles from his personal cellar.
The perfect midweek, midmonth, midwinter reason to leave the couch. Because Cape Town winters were made for evenings like this.
Our first one sold out in just 24 hours, so if you missed out, the next one is on 17 June. Book via Dineplan for 6.30pm and select Supper Club seating.

HALLELUJAH. We made it to red wine, fireside, and comfort food season 🔥🍷❄️
Kudu fillet, prepared medium rare and simply seasoned, because great meat speaks for itself. Served with velvety sweet potato purée, charred broccoli, and a demi glace simmered for 24 hours.
Add fire. Add red wine.
Winter done right at Judds. No hibernation required.

Introducing the Judds Supper Club🍷
Last we hosted an intimate launch of the Judds Supper Club with a handful of select media around the table - passing plates, opening bottles and finding friends amongst food.
A big thank you to those who believed in the idea from the outset, and to everyone who joined us on the evening. The response was exactly what we had hoped for.
It confirmed what this place was always meant to be: a place built on food, wine, community and sharing that altogether at the table.
Now, we’re ready to open the table a little wider.
