Cheers, Observatory! ❤️🍻
At the end of July, we will celebrate our 6th birthday as a brand and host one last party at our beloved Observatory branch.
This will be our final day trading at this location, a bittersweet moment as we built this shop ourselves, by hand!
After that, we’ll be moving to a new site up the road and reopening in early August.
The World Cup, the fire, the ups the downs, the parties, the pizza, the events we hosted, the birthday celebrations, Obs will always be famous!
Come and enjoy Obs one last time (or five more times) over the next two months.

Pizza Shed, located on Lower Main Road in Cape Town, is a hidden gem that offers a unique and heartwarming story behind its establishment. The owners, Thando and James, started this food delivery service, pizza place and Italian restaurant from humble beginnings in their garden shed during the pandemic lockdown. With no form of income whatsoever, they decided to take matters into their own hands and build a pizza oven in their shed. And thus, Pizza Shed was born.
Despite its modest beginnings, Pizza Shed has quickly become a popular spot for locals and visitors alike. The owners have put in a lot of hard work to make the shed functional and welcoming for customers. The menu boasts an impressive selection of pizzas with various toppings that are sure to satisfy any craving. The ingredients used are fresh and of high quality, making each bite deliciously satisfying.
The atmosphere at Pizza Shed is cozy and inviting, with friendly staff who are always ready to assist customers with their orders. Whether you're looking for a quick takeaway or a sit-down meal with friends or family, Pizza Shed has got you covered.
Overall, Pizza Shed is a must-visit spot for anyone looking for great pizza in Cape Town. With its unique story and delicious food offerings, it's no wonder why this place has become so popular among locals and tourists alike.
