Spring is arriving at Reverie Social Table with McFarlane w**es. 🌿
Starting this week, we’ll be bringing 18 guests together around one table for five courses, paired with 6 w**es from McFarlane W**es, whose approach is rooted in freshness, purity of fruit, and a deep respect for the vineyards and growers behind each bottle.
From old vines and diverse Western Cape sites to whole-bunch fermentation and time spent maturing on lees, each w**e proudly represents where it comes from and the thoughtfulness behind each bottle.

This Sunday, we continue our Women’s Month Sunday Lunch Series with a special afternoon celebrating women in food and w**e.
Julia Hattingh and chef Amori Burger will be serving a seasonal three-course menu featuring dishes from both Reverie Social Table and Upper Union, alongside a generous w**e pairing poured by Sheree Nothnagel of RAAR and Kasteelberg W**es. It’s a great chance to hear the stories behind the w**es while sharing a long lunch around the table.

This August, we’re excited to be partnering with Upper Union for a special Women’s Month Sunday Lunch Series.
Over four Sundays, Chef Julia Hattingh and Chef Amori Burger will come together to celebrate the incredible women shaping South Africa’s food and w**e industry. Each lunch will feature a seasonal three-course menu, dishes created by both kitchens, and w**es poured by a different female w**emaker.

We’re excited to introduce our new w**e-pairing series with Raar and Kasteelberg W**es, starting next week at Reverie Social Table.
Sheree Nothnagel leads the Raar and Kasteelberg W**e ranges with thoughtful, expressive w**es rooted in the Swartland. Raar w**es take on a thoughtful, small-batch approach that prioritises quality over volume. Kasteelberg grows from the slopes of the mountain that defines the Riebeek Valley and is dry-farmed, hand-tended, and made with patient craftsmanship.
Both feel aligned with how we approach food and w**e at Reverie, and we’ve paired these w**es with a new seasonal menu for August that we think you’ll love.

Hosted by chefs Amori Burger and Julia Hattingh, each lunch features a collaborative menu, paired w**es and conversations with the women who craft them.
